Our first number stamp set collaboration with Japanese calligraphist, Makiko. Makiko is not only an excellent calligraphist, she also has atalent for drawing fine linebotanical illustrations. We first discussed a collaborationin early spring, 2021. Through this collaboration, we wanted to express our mutual love for this beautiful season, which allows all life on earth to burst out from it’sshell and becomesomething bigger and stronger.
If you look at the label on the packaging, you will notice that the illustrations on the box are different from the actual stamps. We believethat “Growth is a process, and sometimes we shall trust the process with patience and positivity and allow things to fall into their space.” We hope this stamp set will always remind you to find and honor your own strengthand peace throughout theprocess that islife. “May the flowers remind of us, why the rain was so necessary.” – Xan Oku
